Cow Appreciation Day!

Let's face it...we're BIG Chick-Fil A fans. Today was Cow Appreciation Day. If you dressed like a cow you recieved a free combo meal. Well, you know us, we'll do whatever it takes to get something for FREE! So we pulled out all our black shorts and white t-shirts, taped on a few black spots and wha-la...we were cows!

Shaving Lessons

I love uploading photos from the camera and finding shots like this one. What in the world??? I asked about it and Porter quickly let me knowthe HE was giving Garrett shaving lessons! ha ha
Porter loves to "pretend" shave. He uses an old piece of widdled wood that he found somewhere! Anyways, now he has Garrett getting into it to. I just made one thing clear---DO NOT USE A REAL RAZOR...not yet atleast.

Six Flags over Texas!

We made it over to Six Flags on Monday. The kids LOVED it and had so much fun on all the big rides. Ellerie hit 4 of the biggest coasters with the boys first thing. After riding "Batman" she was really sick to her stomach and spent the next hour or so really miserable. Finally she vomited and made an absolute turn around and started right back into the "big" rides. She was a trooper! We stayed from when doors opened until they closed. It was such a fun day!

Snaggle Tooth

Porter has had this loose "snaggle tooth" for over 3 weeks now. We have all been dying to just pull it out but he wouldn't let us near it. We finally told him that it had to come out before he could play flag football. His first practice is coming up so we finally convinced him that he wouldn't beable to wear his mouthpiece with that hanging tooth. Chad gave Porter the option to pull it himself or he would "help" pull it out. Porter tried for over 20 minutes but had to finally resolve to letting Dad pull it out. He was NOT happy to say the least! (but we sure were glad to see that thing go)

Happy 4th of July!

Here's the only picture I took of the actual 4th of July day.
It was Sunday and we had dinner with our friends the Waddells.
I made this dessert "Summer Berry Cheesecake Trifle"...
It was delish! It turned out to be so yummy.
It's a keeper for sure and so festive!

Allen USA

Allen holds an early 4th of July celebration called Allen USA!
It was a fun day filled with lots of food vendors, games and
this year The Commodores came to sing!
It was really fun and a great fire work show ended the night.

Food Frenzi

I guess this shows how exciting our summer has been so far.
The kids are so bored they have to "play" with their food.
Kaden and Ellerie's Twinner BLT's
and Garrett Sr. Amigo (the taco man)
YIKES!
